25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Yee conducted an Annual inspection today. The purpose of the visit was explained. Present at the facility are the licensee, Jenny Ho, 2 helpers, her brother and 6 children (3 infants). She has 09 children enrolled. The facility personnel summary report was reviewed with Jenny and updated during the visit. Per license, current residents are Jenny, her brother, 17 year old daughter, 17 year old niece, 4 tenants. All adults living at the facility has fingerprint clearance.
Daycare areas are living room, hallway bathroom, and backyard. The remaining areas of the home are off-limits. The licensees CPR, 1ST AID is current until 10-01-24.
LPA observed the home is clean orderly and properly ventilated. A fire extinguisher is size 2A10BC. Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide are available. There are no bodies of water such as a swimming pool and/or hot tub in the home. Electrical outlets have child protective covers in place making them inaccessible to children. Chemicals, detergents, cleaning compounds, medications, and other items of this nature are made inaccessible to children. Kitchen/Bathroom cabinets/drawers have child protective locks in place making all sharp objects or toxic household items inaccessible to children. First aid supplies are available for children. Disciplinary policy was discussed with Licensee today. The home has age-appropriate toys and equipment available for the children in care. The facility provides meals. The last fire drills was conducted on 11-17-2023
LPA discussed the Mandated Reporter Training, AB1207 that was effective on 1/1/2018. All staff must take the training and keep the certificate on file. The training needs to be renewed once every 2 years.
