25 | On March 21, 2025 at approximately 2:00pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ly conducted an Unannounced Annual Visit to this family child care home and met with Licensee Bryan & Bianca Haberek. Purpose of visit was explained. Present during the visit were both licensees and an Assistant caring for 3 infant age children and 8 preschool age children.
Upon arrival, LPA observed an Assistant who is still needing finger print clearance present during today's visit. Per Licensee, they are working on getting her finger print complete. Type B violation has been issued on this day in accordance with the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, see LIC 809D. An immediate Civil Penalty of $100.00 has been assessed on this day.
Day Care Areas front room, a room next to the front room for older children to nap, a bedroom use as infants' nap room and a bathroom. Off Limit Areas Licensees' bedroom, another bedroom use as an office, a kitchen and half a bathroom.
Both Licensees’ Pediatric CPR/First is valid until 02/2027. Both Licensees have completed Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training Certificates are on file and are valid until 03/2026.
LPA observed the home is clean orderly and properly ventilated. LPA also observed a 2A10BC Fire extinguisher, operable smoke detectors and carbon monoxide. There are no Fireplace or bodies of water in the home. Electrical outlets have child protective covers in place making them inaccessible to children. Chemical, detergents, cleaning compounds, medications, and other items of this nature are made inaccessible to children. Kitchen/Bathroom cabinets/drawers have child protective locks in place making all sharp objects or toxic house hold items inaccessible to children. First aid supplies are available for children. Facility conducts fire drills/earthquake drills on January 15, 2025 and was properly logged. Disciplinary policy was discussed with Licensee today. Home has age appropriate toys and equipment available for the children in care.
During today's visit, LPA reviewed children's files. All children's files have emergency contact information, required licensing forms and immunization record.
