32 | There was a variety of age-appropriate toys and equipment in the home, which were in good condition. No fireplaces were observed in day-care areas. There are no pools or bodies of water on the premises. All cleaning supplies, poisons, and other chemicals were stored out of reach of children.
LPA inspected the backyard play area and found it to be clean and free of debris. LPA observed the ground of the backyard to be padded with artificial grass, and other types of padding to absorb the fall of children during play. There is shading available for children during outside play. There was a sand box that was covered from the rain, and there were a variety of age-appropriate toys and equipment in the backyard that were clean and sturdy.
LPA observed a fully charged fire extinguisher, and multiple smoke /carbon monoxide detectors were found to be in working condition. There is a working telephone on site. The phone numbers listed for the Licensee are current. LPA confirmed the licensee’s email address. Per Licensee, there are no weapons or firearms in the home.
LPA reviewed six children's records. LPA also reviewed facility records of the licensee and the helper.
Per the Licensee, there are no children enrolled with medication.

Xue Xia Wu, was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home.
