25 | On July 15, 2022 at 10:35 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cowan conducted an unannounced inspection for capacity change. Present in the home this day is licensee and helper caring for 5 children (2 infants and 3 preschool age). Applicant lives in the home with spouse, adult son, and brother in law. Applicant’s home is a two level 5 bedroom home. Day-care areas: Lower level of the home (bathroom 1, kitchen 1, bedrooms 1, play room, and art room. Off Limit areas: The entire upper level of home. The day-care operation hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM .
This inspection is due to an application received in the Regional Office for capacity increase by licensees.
LPA and licensee toured the home, and LPA observed the following: Day-care area is clean, orderly, and equipped with age appropriate toys and equipment for the children. Home has sufficient lighting and ventilation. Home has a working telephone, a working smoke and carbon monoxide detector, and a fully charged fire extinguisher. There are no poisons, detergents, or cleaning products accessible to day-care children. Licensee states there are no guns or weapons of any kind in the home. Licensee’s CPR expires in 12/4/23. Licensee provides daily snacks and meals. All required postings are properly posted. Licensee has required proof of immunization on file. Fire clearance has been approve by San Francisco Fire Department, and has been received in Regional Office 7-15-22.
LPA recommends licensure for increase capacity this day.
