25 | On June 1, 2023, at approximately 11:00am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) conducted a Case Management -Licensee Initiated for an increase of capacity at the address 8 Funston Avenue. LPA met with Director Sarra He. There were 46 children and 11 staff present at 9 Funston Ave. The department received a fire clearance with a combination of 8 & 9 Funston as one fire clearance from the Presidio Trust Department.
On this day, LPA measured the indoor with a total of 1,427 square feet which is able to hold 40 preschoolers. Facility has 3 toilets and 3 sinks for preschoolers which would be enough for 45 preschoolers. Facility is asking for 38 preschoolers which means facility has enough square footage for an increase of 38 more preschool age children.
On this day, LPA also measured the Indoor Toddler Classrooms. The Indoor Toddler Classrooms have 482.87 square feet, one designated sink and toilet for the toddlers. Facility is requesting for an increase of 12 toddlers which means facility has enough square footage for the 12 toddlers requested.
Prior to Licensure:
*Facility representative will submit waiver request for playground rotation.
