25 | On August 18, 2021, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Van made an announced Case Management inspection to increase capacity to the current License and met with Site Director Marie-Louise Nastke. The Department received an application from the facility requesting a capacity increase on June 1, 2021. The facility is currently licensed for 22 preschool-age children and requesting an increase to the capacity of 44 preschool-age children. Presently, there are no children at the facility, the first day of the school year will be this Monday, August 23, 2021. Days and hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
LPA and Site Director inspected the new classroom for Health and Safety Hazards. No changes were made to the previously licensed indoor and outdoor. Currently, the facility is operating in classroom #1 (Cayote) and a multipurpose room. From the previously measured classroom #1 and the multipurpose room, the facility had a total of 2,195.36 square feet. During today's inspection, classroom room #2 (Parrot) was measured and had a measurement of 684.03 square feet. Classroom #2 has a toilet and a sink. With the additional classroom, the overall square footage is 2879.30 square feet, allowing for a capacity of 82 children. The new classroom appears clean and in good repair with sufficient lighting and ventilation. All furnishing and equipment are observed to be in good condition, and there are cubbies available for children's belongings. The facility now has three toilets, allowing for 45 children, and three sinks, allowing for 45 children.
