25 | On 5/22/2026 at 1:10PM., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Luis Gomez met with Licensee, Ana Paula Dias. The purpose of today’s visit was explained and was for an unannounced, annual/ random inspection. Present was the licensee and 2 assistants caring for 9 children (7 preschool-age, 2 infant-age). The adults have criminal record clearance on file. The licensee’s home is a three bedroom, one bathroom, one level house. The days and hours of operations are: Monday- Friday, 8:00AM- 6:00PM. The areas of the home designated for childcare are: Bedroom #1 (Napping Room); Covered Deck (Playroom); Kitchen; and Bathroom #1. The areas of the home designated as off-limits: Bedroom #2, Bedroom #3, and Garage. LPA inspected facility for health and safety hazards.
At 1:25PM., the following was observed: Facility clean and neat, with age-appropriate playthings available for the children. All floor surfaces, carpets and exit pathways were clear of obstructions or hazards. The accessible furniture and materials inspected were in good repair, and free of sharp corners or splintered edges. The covered deck has labeled cubbies available for children’s belongings. The bathroom was observed clean with supplies for hand washing. LPA observed diaper changing table for staff use as needed.
For napping services/ scheduled rest, LPA observed play pens, cribs, and napping cots were stored in Bedroom #1. The infant cribs were observed free of loose objects with tight fitted sheets. Per licensee, the infant bed sheets are washed on-site, once per week.
For meal services, licensee has several infant feeding chairs with removable table attachment. LPA observed several tables/ chairs in kitchen and scaled to the appropriate size.
The home was maintained at a comfortable temperature, with adequate ventilation and lighting. The facility was equipped with a telephone service (cell phone); functioning smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector; and fully charged- fire extinguisher (3A:40BC) (REFER TO 809C, FOR CONT.)
