Per D1, the facility provides breakfast, lunch, and snacks. All trash cans have tight fitting lids. LPAs inspected the first aid kit to be complete. There are age-appropriate cribs and cots for children to sleep on. Per D1, children’s bedding is washed by the facility weekly.
LPAs observed an infant (C2) to be sleeping in a crib without visual supervision. There is a bookshelf and curtain separating the crib area and preventing staff from having constant visual supervision. The staff were on the other side of the divider with the rest of the infants. LPAs advised D1 of the regulation that states all infants shall be under direct visual observation at all times, even when sleeping. D1 stated they understood.
LPAs reviewed 10 staff files and 10 children’s files. There is at least one staff member with EMSA certified Pediatric First Aid/CPR training. All children’s files contain their admission agreements and their needs and services plan. Per D1, the facility uses the Brightwheel app for sign ins/outs. All required postings are available for review. Per record review, the most recent emergency drill was conducted on 1/9/2025.
