13 | On June 2, 2026 at approximately 2:20pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Quimbo conducted an unannounced, complaint visit. LPA met with teacher, Ana Escobar, and explained the purpose of the visit. Upon arrival, director was not present due to an appointment. Teacher is designated with facility responsibility.
Facility is a combination preschool and infant center. Present during visit under the preschool license included 25 children and 5 teaching staff; 12 children with 3 teaching staff in the “Ocean” classroom and 13 children with 2 teaching staff in the “Sky” classroom.
At approximately 3:00pm, LPA met with facility director, Lorena Zegarra. LPA continued visit with director.
During the investigation, LPA conducted facility observations, interviewed individuals and reviewed facility records.
LPA did not observe a child to be restrained during classroom observations. Individuals interviewed stated no child has been restrained nor have individuals observed a child to be restrained. Facility records indicate that no corporal punishment is used. LPA was unable to determine that a child was restrained.
