25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Yee and Tse conducted a Required - 1 Year inspection today. The purpose of the inspection was explained. Present at the facility are site director/licensee, Bennett Molyneaux, his partner Bin Ge, 6 staff members, and 47 preschool children with 12 toddlers. Teacher-to-child ratios is in compliance during today's visit. This is a preschool program with a toddler option program of 12 children. Days and hours of operation: Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 5:45 pm. The facility has fully charged fire extinguishers that meet the minimum requirements, smoke detectors, and a carbon monoxide detector. The outside yard is adjacent to the classroom. Waiver for yard rotation schedule is posted.
LPA and Site director, Bennett toured and inspected the Center for Health and Safety Hazards. Daycare areas: Stage 1 (toddlers), Stage 2 (2.5- 3.5 yr old), Stage 3 ( second floor), toddler yard, and preschool yard. Outdoor yards are inspected. LPA observed outdoor equipment is in good condition, free from loose, sharp, or pointed parts. There are no swimming pools, spas, or other bodies of water on the premises. All cleaning supplies and other potentially harmful items are made inaccessible to the children. Furniture and equipment are in good condition. The facility provides snacks and lunches. Menu is posted. Drinking water is provided indoors and outdoors. The last Emergency Drill was conducted on 06/02/2023 and properly logged.
During the visit, LPA reviewed 7 staff members' records. At least one staff have current Pediatric First Aid and CPR until 08/2025. One teacher has infant units on file.
LPA reminded the site director that preschool and toddler option children cannot commingle at any time. The site director understands that the children must be kept physically separate from the preschool-age children. There are 5 toilets, and 6 faucets at the facility.
Facility utilizes the Brightwheel application for children's sign-in and sign-out. |
