25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Yee conducted an annual inspection today. The purpose of the inspection was explained. Present at the facility are site director/licensee, Bennett Molyneaux, his partner Bin Ge, 7 staff members, and 44 preschool children with 12 toddlers. LPA The facility has fully charged fire extinguishers that meet the minimum requirements, smoke detectors, and a carbon monoxide detector. The outside yard is adjacent to the classrooms. Waiver for yard rotation schedule is posted.
LPA and site director, Mr. Molyneaux toured and inspected the Center for Health and Safety Hazards. Daycare classrooms: Stage 1 (toddlers), Stage 2 (2.5- 3.5 yr old), Stage 3 ( second floor), toddler yard, and preschool yard were inspected. LPA observed outdoor equipment is in good condition, free from loose, sharp, or pointed parts. Outdoor yards were inspected. LPA observed outdoor equipment are in good condition, free from loose, sharp, or pointed parts. There are no swimming pools, spas, or other bodies of water on the premises. All cleaning supplies and other potentially harmful items are made inaccessible to the children. Furniture and equipment are in good condition. The facility provides morning snacks, afternoon snacks, and lunches. Menu is posted. Drinking water is available for indoors and outdoors. The last Fire Drill was conducted on 08-12-2024, and properly logged.
During the visit, LPA reviewed 07 staff members' records. At least one staff have current Pediatric First Aid and CPR until 08/2025.
LPA observed two staff members (one teacher and one teacher aid) supervising 20 children (stage 2 group). Three teachers supervising 24 children (stage 3 group). Three teachers supervise 12 toddlers (stage 1). LPA reviewed with the site director regarding teachers' qualifications. The site director re-arranged the staff to meet teacher-child ratios during the visit. LPA reminded the site director that teachers from toddler classroom need to have 3 infant units. This is a preschool program with a toddler option program of 12 children.
