LPA reminded applicant to conduct and document emergency disaster drills at least once every six months. Applicant was reminded infant, toddler and preschool children cannot co-mingle at any time.
The following items were reviewed as part of today's visit: Record keeping for staff, children and facility records, Care and Supervision of the Children, Child Discipline Procedures-staff will use redirection, Emergency Evacuation Procedures, Medication Policies, Isolation of Sick Children, Napping Requirements (safe sleep regulations), Food Service, Transportation-neighborhood walks/field trip, Parents Rights and Reporting Requirements. Required postings were observed during today’s inspection. The requirement for Lead Water Testing was discussed (H&S Code 1597.16).
Fire inspection was approved on this date. LPA discussed program’s COVID-19 protocol and required postings. An electronic copy of this 3 page report will be provided to applicant. LPA advised applicant to acknowledge the report was received.
Prior to recommended licensure, applicant must complete following:
-Request for outdoor waiver
-Installation of carbon monoxide detector in classroom. |
