13 | On February 14, 2025., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Van conducted an unannounced inspection to finalize this complaint and deliver the findings to the Licensee. LPA met the Licensee, Liu Jing. The purpose of the inspection was explained, and entry to the home was granted. Upon entering the house, LPA observed the children were in the middle of celebrating one of their peers' birthdays. The Licensee and staff supervised nine children (2 infants and 7 preschoolers)
As part of the investigation, interviews were conducted with teachers and parents of children attending the daycare, and all pertinent documents were collected and reviewed. The findings indicated that there was insufficient evidence to support the claims that the licensee denied parents access to tour or inspect the facility, nor was there any indication that parents were not informed about their child's injury.
The Department has investigated the allegations mentioned above. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegations are Unsubstantiated.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
An exit inspection was conducted with the Licensee, Jing Liu. |
