LPAs observed that each child has their own cubby. The sleeping cots are stored appropriately. All emergency supplies are stored in a locked. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons, and other hazardous materials were stored in areas inaccessible to children. All accessible cabinets and drawers in the classrooms were found to be free of dangerous materials or poisons.
According to the director, the center currently has no children who require medication. However, when children bring medication from home, the center stores it in a centralized, locked medication backpack.
All children's toilets and handwashing stations are in good working order and properly sanitized. There is a separate staff bathroom on the premises. LPAs observed no bodies of water on the premises. Per the director, no firearms are present on site.
According to the director, the center provides breakfast, lunch, and PM snacks. All food is prepared on site. All solid waste storage containers have tight-fitting lids. Children bring water bottles. The center has a water dispenser in each pod/classroom available for children to refill their water bottles.
The center has an approved, scheduled outdoor rotation waiver from the department, allowing 30 children to use the outdoor areas each time. The outdoor play area is well-maintained, clean, free of debris, and completely fenced. LPAs reminded the director that drinking water should be readily available to children during outdoor activities.
All required postings, including the Facility License, Notification of Parent Rights, Personal Rights, Car Seat Law, Emergency Disaster Plan, and Daily Activities, were posted.
The Director stated that the Center conducts fire and earthquake drills at least once every six months; the last drills were conducted on 1/6/2026.
Random children's records and personnel records were reviewed during the inspection. A records review showed the facility has complete records for each child, including immunizations, admission agreements, emergency contact information, and personal rights.
