25 | Licensing Program Analyst, LPA Yee conducted a pre-licensing inspection today. LPA and the applicant, Yushan Kuang toured the entire house for health and safety hazards. Current residents are Yushan Kuang, her husband, their 4 year old, and 2 year old daughters. Days and hours of operation: Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Day Care Areas (lower level): daycare room, and half bathroom.Off-limit areas: the entire upper level, office/storage room located on lower level with full bathroom. The backyard is not licensed today. If used, it needs to be inspected it. The applicant owns this home. The control of property is on file. The home is equipped with a carbon monoxide detector, a smoke detector and a fire extinguisher size 2A10B. LPA advised them to conduct emergency drills once every six months and keep a log sheet.
CPR and 1st aid are current until 09/11/2024. The facility does not have a body of water such as a swimming pool, or hot tub. No pets. Discipline policy was discussed. The facility will provide morning snacks, afternoon snacks, and lunches.
LPA review AB 1207 with the Licensee. As of January 1, 2018, all staff members are required to complete Mandated Reporter Training every two years. The training can be obtained online at www.mandatedreporterca.com. The applicant completed AB 1207 on 12/12/2022. A certificate is on file.
