25 | On March 24, 2023., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Van met with Licensee Dangui Situ for an unannounced case management inspection. The inspection aimed to process a capacity increase requested by the Licensee. Present at the inspection is two children with the Licensee and her Aide. The hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. This facility has applied for a capacity increase from 8 to 14.
LPA inspected the facility for Health and Safety Hazards. The facility has no pools, spas, or other bodies of water. The facility has multiple smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, fully charged fire extinguishers, and a working telephone. All the cleaning solutions, poisons, and other chemicals that are dangerous to the children are stored and inaccessible to the children. The facility has age-appropriate furniture. The furniture is steady and in good repair. The facility floor is in good repair and free of any hazards. All toilets and hand washing facilities are in working condition with proper sanitation. All the materials and surfaces accessible to the children are clean and toxic-free.
The department received an approved fire clearance from the San Francisco Fire Department on March 6, 2023. All required forms have been submitted to the department.
On this day, LPA reviewed capacity requirements with the Licensee. The handout was provided.
Capacity increase for large family child care home will be approved effective 3/24/2023.
Today's report and site visit notice was provided to the Licensee. LPA informed the Licensee that a site visit notification must be posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
