During inspection, LPA reviewed the outdoor play area (Patio).
At 9:00AM., Based on observation, LPA confirmed paint containers and cleaning spray (Alcohol), stored in the on-limit backyard area / Patio Area. Per licensee, patio area is not is use at this time.
The home does not have any pools; fishponds; jacuzzi; or other bodies of water.
At 9:45AM., LPA reviewed facility records including 9 children files and 3 staff files. The staff files were reviewed and include the Notification of Employee Rights (LIC9052).
At 9:55AM., Based on record review, LPA confirmed staff (S2) proof of immunization, and proof of mandated reporter training (AB1207), missing from facility files. Advisory Note: Technical Violation (LIC9102TV) was issued.
The children’s files were reviewed and included the: Notification of Additional Children in care (LIC9150) and Notification of Parent's Right (LIC995A).
At 10:20AM., Based on record review, LPA confirmed child's file (C6) missing from the facility records.
The licensee is documenting infant napping conditions during each 15-minute review. LPA reviewed napping log sample during inspection.
The licensee’s cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)/ Pediatric First Aid Certifications was current, expiring on 4/2026.
The licensee’s proof of the completed mandated reporter training course (AB1207) was current, expiring 4/2026.
The facility conducts the required emergency disaster drill every 6 months, with last drill done on 10/28/2025, and had been properly logged.
The required forms are posted in entry way and include the: Facility License; Notification of Parent’s Rights (PUB379); and the Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC610A).
Per licensee, isolation of an ill child is in the playroom. Per licensee, facility provides daily snack/ meals service for children in care. (REFER TO 809C, FOR CONT.)
