25 | On May 17, 2023 at approximately 2:30pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ly, conducted a scheduled Relocation Pre-Licensing inspection and met with Licensee Suzanne Hart. LPA and Licensee inspected the downstair of home for Health and Safety Hazards. Licensee own the two story home and resides here alone.
Day Care Areas are on the ground level consists of a playroom, bathroom, kitchen, a bedroom and the backyard. Off Limit Areas are the entire second level and the garage. Applicant’s CPR expires 04/2025.
LPA observed the home is clean orderly and properly ventilated. Telephone service, heating, lighting and ventilation were evaluated. LPA observed a 2A10BC Fire extinguisher, operable smoke detector and carbon monoxide in the kitchen area. LPA observed no bodies of water nor fireplace in the home. Electrical outlets have child protective covers in place making them inaccessible to children. Chemical, detergents, cleaning compounds, medications, and other items of this nature are made inaccessible to children. Kitchen/Bathroom cabinets/drawers have child protective covers in place. Per Licensee, home does not have firearms or dangerous weapons.
Home has age appropriate toys and equipment available for the children in care. Licensee is reminded of NO walker, exersaucers, jumpers, bouncers and any similar items to be used for children in care. Those items shall be made inaccessible to children. Discipline policy was discussed with Licensee.
