25 | Licensing Program Analysts, LPAs Yee and Tso conducted a pre-licensing inspection today. LPAs, and the applicant, Akhila Yasmeen, and her daughter in law, Sanam Mobin, toured the entire house for health and safety hazards. Current residents are Akhila Yasmeen, her son, daughter in law and her grandson. Days and hours of operation: Monday to Friday between 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Day Care Areas: living room and hallway bathroom. Backyard is not license today. If use, it needs to be inspected by the licensing department. Off-limit areas: kitchen, family room located near the kitchen; the entire upper level. The applicant's son owns this home. The control of property is on file. The home is equipped with a carbon monoxide detector, a smoke detector and a fire extinguisher size 2A10BC. LPA advised them to conduct emergency drills once every six months and keep a log sheet.
CPR and 1st aid are current until 04/29/2025. The facility does not have a body of water such as a swimming pool, or hot tub. No pets. Discipline policy was discussed. The facility will not provide meals. The gate is used to prevent children from going to the off limit areas.
LPA review AB 1207 with the applicant. As of January 1, 2018, all staff members are required to complete Mandated Reporter Training every two years. The training can be obtained online at www.mandatedreporterca.com. Applicant completed AB 1207 on 07-13-2023. A certificate is on file.
The applicant immunization is on file. 8 hours of Health and Safety was completed.
