32 | The facility is adequately furnished with age-appropriate toys, furniture, equipment, and first aid supplies. There is a designated area for children’s belongings, and hooks were installed for children’s backpacks. A fire extinguisher, smoke detectors, and a carbon monoxide (CO) detector are present. Parents will provide lunch for their children; the facility will provide a morning and afternoon snack. No pools, spas, hot tubs, fishponds, or similar bodies of water are present. Per Director, there are no firearms or weapons on site.
The classroom is set up for childcare, and furniture and equipment for children are present. The isolation area for a sick child will be separated from the group in the staff area. The facility had posted all the required license forms in a prominent, accessible location: Parent's Rights, Emergency Disaster Plan, and license will be posted when received.
This facility meets the licensing requirements to operate a childcare center. The capacity this facility could be licensed for is 20 preschool children. However, it also depends on the outcome of the Fire clearance; the capacity could change. Once fire clearance is approved and received, then licensure will be recommended.
No deficiencies were cited today. An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with the Director, Kausar Wildman. Today's report and site visit notice was provided to the Director. LPA informed the Director that the site visit notice must be |
