25 | On September 4th, 2025, at approximately 9:20 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Janet Gil conducted an unannounced, annual inspection. LPA met with licensees, Sandy Wong, and explained the purpose of the inspection. Present during LPA’s visit included licensee, three additional assistants, and 9 enrolled children (3 infants, and 6 preschoolers). The licensee is a large license and is operating within capacity limits and ratio.
Licensee rents the home, which is 2 bathroom, three level loft. Licensees live in the home. All adults living and working in the home have fingerprint clearance. Facility operates Monday Through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Day Care Areas: Living Room, Family Room, Modern Play Space(level 3), Bathroom 1, and Kitchen (Meal times only).
Off Limit Areas: Bathroom 2 and Bedroom/Office Space on 3rd level.. The stairs going to upper level of the home from child care have been properly barricaded.
At approximately 10:30 AM, LPA toured day care areas of home with licensee. LPA observed the home to be in repair with proper temperature and ventilation. Home is equipped with a variety of toys and materials that were observed to be in working condition. LPA observed two fully stocked accessible first aid kits located in the kitchen area. LPA did not observe any accessible cleaning supplies, poisons, and solutions in day care areas. LPA observed electrical outlets to be made inaccessible with child safety outlet covers. Home is equipped with a fully charged fire extinguisher and multiple smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. LPA tested detector on 3rd level of unit which was observed to be working. Licensee does not have any children in care with allergies or IMS plans. Per licensees, she does not provide food for the children in care. Parents or authorized representatives provide lunch.
At approximately 11:00 AM, LPA observed the bathroom for children's use was in proper working condition. LPA observed the bathroom to include appropriate toileting equipment and sanitation products. LPA did not observe any hazardous materials to be accessible to children in the bathroom.
