25 | On November 5, 2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Van and Tran conducted an unannounced annual inspection and met with Licensee, MiaoXin Chen. The purpose of the inspection was explained to the licensee, and the licensee granted LPAs entry to the home. At the time of the inspection, the licensee and her assistant supervised nine children (3 infants and 6 preschoolers). The licensee remains in compliance with her license capacity and limitations. Licensee's adult daughter, XiuLing Wu, arrived during the visit.
The licensee, staff, and individuals residing in the home have had their criminal record clearances verified through the CDSS Background Check System, and they are confirmed to have an eligible clearance status on file.
Days and hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
According to the licensee, there are no changes to the previously approved childcare areas. Childcare areas are the second level, the living room, dining room, 1/2 kitchen, and bathroom. Ground level: bedroom #1, the applicant called the activity room. OFF-limit areas: on the second level, the loft, and two bedrooms. The lower level, including the laundry room, sauna room, backyard, the other ½ of the kitchen where stoves are located, and the garage.
LPAs and the licensee inspected the daycare areas for health and safety hazards. During the inspection, LPAs observed the following: the child care areas are clean and organized, and it is equipped with age-appropriate toys and equipment for the children. The home has adequate lighting and ventilation, a working telephone, a functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detector, and a fully charged fire extinguisher.
