25 | On May 21, 2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Leong and Badger conducted an unannounced case management visit to increase the facility's infant capacity. On May 6, 2025, the department received the facility’s request to increase its infant capacity. LPAs met with Director Parneet Sandhu and explained the purpose of the visit.
Twelve infants, the director, and five staff members were present at today's visit.
To accommodate the increase in capacity, the facility will use the toddler room from their preschool license, license # 384004810.
LPAs observed that the toddler room had toys, furniture, and learning materials suitable for the children's age. The toddler room was found clean and well ventilated. There were storage areas for each child. Child safety covers were fitted on all electrical outlets. The toddler classroom included a diaper-changing table within arm’s reach of a sink. The bathrooms were clean, fully functional, and equipped with the necessary toilets and sanitation supplies. A carbon monoxide detector and a smoke detector were present in the room.
The facility has cots for children to take naps in. LPAs observed that sheets and blankets were available for the children. The facility has sheets for the children in care, washing them weekly or as needed. The facility requires parents to supply blankets for their children, which will be laundered weekly.
Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018, requires all licensed Child Care Centers (CCCs) constructed before January 1, 2010, to test their water (used for drinking and food preparation) for lead contamination before January 1, 2023, and then every 5-years after the date of the first test.
