25 | On 4/13/2026 at 1:00PM., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Luis Gomez met with Assistant, Delvia Gutierrez. The purpose of today’s visit was explained and was for an unannounced, annual/ random inspection. The licensee, Maria Madrigal arrived during inspection. Present was the licensee and 2 assistants caring for 10 children (9 preschool-age, 1 infant-age). The adults have criminal record clearance on file. The licensee’s home 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 3 level home. The days and hours of operations are: Monday- Friday, 7:00AM- 6:00PM. The areas of the home designated for childcare are: Ground level: Living room #2 (Activity Space), Bedroom #3 (Infant room); Bathroom #1; and the Backyard. The areas of the home designated as off-limits are: Ground Level: Garage; Entire 2nd Level: Living Room #1, #2, Bedroom #1, Bathroom #2, Kitchen, Entire 3rd Level: Bedroom #2; Bathroom #3. LPA inspected facility indoors and outdoors, for health and safety hazards.
At 1:15PM., the following was observed: Facility clean and neat, with age-appropriate playthings/ materials available for the children. The floor and ground surfaces were clear of obstructions or hazards. The licensee had installed a padded surface (carpeting) inside bedroom #3.
The diaper changing table is located in the living room, for use as needed. The available children’s furniture and materials were in good repair.
For meal services, LPA observed infant feeding chair with wide- based legs, and removable table attachment. LPA observed a table and several chairs, scaled to the appropriate size.
For napping services/ scheduled rest, LPA observed play pens, cribs, and napping cots were stored in Bedroom #3 and Activity Space. The infant cribs were observed free of loose objects with tight fitted sheets. Per licensee, the infant bed sheets are washed on-site, once per week.
The home was maintained at a comfortable temperature, with adequate ventilation and lighting. The facility was equipped with a telephone service (cell phone); functioning smoke/ carbon monoxide combination detector; and fully charged- fire extinguisher (3A:40BC) (REFER TO 809C, FOR CONT.)
