25 | On 5/5/2025 at 12:35PM., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Luis Gomez met with Licensee, Sandra Zamora Gomez. The purpose of today’s visit was explained and was for an unannounced, annual/ random inspection. Present was the licensee and assistant caring for 11 children. (8 preschool-age and 3 infant-age) Adults have criminal record clearances on file. Licensee’s home is a four bedroom, two bathroom, two level house. Days and hours of operations are: Monday- Friday, 7:00AM- 5:00PM. Licensee stated childcare services are also provided on weekends. The areas of the home designated for childcare are: Lower Level: Bedroom #1 (Activity Room), Bedroom #2 (Activity Room), Hallway, and Backyard Area. The area designated as off-limits include: Lower Level: Garage and Entire Upper Level: Bedroom #1, #2, Kitchen, and Livingroom. LPA inspected facility indoors and outdoors for health and safety hazards.
At 12:45PM., the following was observed: Facility was clean, neat, with age-appropriate playthings available for the children. The floors, walkways, and ground surfaces were clear of any obstructions or hazards. Child safety gate and locks have been installed preventing access to the off-limit areas. LPA observed cubbies available for storage of children’s belongings. LPA observed table, chairs, scaled to the appropriate size. Children’s furniture and toys inspected were in good repair.
For napping services, LPA observed plastic mats in facility. Bathroom #1 was observed clean, with faucet and toilet in operating condition. Detergents, cleaning compounds, and item which can pose a danger, have been stored in the off-limit areas. Facility was a comfortable temperature, ventilation, and lighting. Facility has telephone service; carbon monoxide/ smoke combination detectors; and fire extinguisher (2A:10BC). (REFER TO 809C, FOR CONT.)
