25 | On 7/21/2026 at 12:55PM., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Luis Gomez met with Licensee, Sandra Zamora Gomez. The purpose of today’s visit was explained and was for an unannounced, annual/ random inspection. Present was the licensee caring for 10 children (2 infant-age, 8 preschool -age). All adults have criminal record clearances on file. The provider’s home is a four bedroom, two bathroom, two level house. The days and hours of operations are: Monday- Friday, 7:30AM- 5:00PM. The areas of the home designated for childcare are: Lower Level: Bedroom #1 (Activity Room), Bedroom #2 (Activity Room), Hallway, and Backyard Area. The area designated as off-limits include: Lower Level: Garage and Entire Upper Level: Bedroom #1, #2, Kitchen, and Living Room. LPA inspected facility indoors and outdoors, for health and safety hazards.
At 1:10PM., The following was observed: Facility clean and neat with age-appropriate playthings/ materials available for the children. All floors and ground surfaces were clear of obstructions or hazards. The furniture and playthings inspected were in good repair, free of sharp corners or splintered edges.
The bathroom was observed clean with step stool and adequate supplies for handwashing. LPA observed a changing table available, for the staff to use as necessary.
The playroom has several chairs and table, scaled to the appropriate size. The off-limits areas, including staircase, have been made inaccessible with child safety gate.
For napping services/ scheduled rest, LPA observed foldable mats in facility. Per licensee, linens and blankets are washed by once per week by families. Per license, playpens are available in storage. The home was maintained at a comfortable temperature, was well-lit and had sufficient ventilation. The facility was equipped with a telephone service (cell phone); functioning smoke detector/ carbon monoxide combination detector; and fully charged- fire extinguisher (2A10BC).
