25 | On March 20, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Van conducted an unannounced inspection of the Plan of Correction (POC). LPA met with the licensee, Jenny Chan. LPA explained the purpose of the inspection to the licensee, and access to the home was granted. The licensee and her helper supervised eleven children: two infants and nine preschoolers.
During the annual inspection on February 14, 2025, the Licensee was found to be inconsistent in documenting the necessary 15-minute check on sleeping infants, and cleaning products & disinfectants were accessible to children.
During today’s inspection, reviewed records confirmed that all infants' sleep logs were documented correctly, complete with the correct dates and checks performed every 15 minutes. Cleaning products and disinfectants are no longer stored in the bathroom cabinet. According to the licensee, the cabinet is used solely for storing toilet paper and diapers. Additionally, the licensee has installed child-proof latches for the cabinet. As a result, the deficiency cited on February 14, 2025, has been resolved.
An exit interview and consultation were conducted with the Licensee. No deficiencies were observed in today's inspection.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
