Outdoors: There is additional outdoor space in the outdoor area that was previously made off limits to children (located behind facility). Newly added space in outdoor area includes a variety of toys and equipment that are in good condition. There is a quiet space in newly added outdoor area that children have access to. There is also additional outdoor space located directly in front of facility. Both newly added outdoor spaces are entirely enclosed and fenced with an at least 4 ft. high fence. Newly added outdoor space equals 526.1 sq. ft. With square footage from new outdoor space added to outdoor space of 1,639.63 sq. ft., the total outdoor square footage equals 2,165.73 sq. ft. allowing for a capacity of 28 children. LPA reminded applicant children must always be supervised going to and from the outdoor area. LPA did not observe any pools, spas or bodies of water on site.
During visit, LPA obtained a copy of program's Incidental Medical Services (IMS) plan.
This facility plans to provide Incidental Medical Services – IMS. For IMS information, see PIN 22-02-CCP. A Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. Based on indoor square footage, maximum number program can be licensed for is 26 preschool children.
LPA will approve for license when following is complete:
-Finalization of business ownership change between applicant and current licensee.
-Director packet submitted and approved for Evelyn Ruiz-Zink.
-Submission and approval of updated Personnel Policies.
-Submission and approval of updated Parent Handbook.
-Submission and approval of In service training for staff.
-Submission and approval of Admission Agreement.
A notice of site visit was given to licensee and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.
