25 | On 9/13/2024, at approximately 9:05AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jonathan Tse conducted an announced prelicensing visit at the address. LPA met with Applicant, Olga Ochinca (A1), and explained the purpose of the visit. Applicant requested a change of location from facility number 384004094. Present during the visit was Applicant.
Daycare Areas: Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Toilet Room, Bedroom #2, Bedroom #4, Half-Bathroom (attached to Bedroom #4), and Backyard.
Off-limits Areas: Bedroom #1, Bedroom #3, Deck (accessible from Bedroom #1), Garage (used for pass-through only into Backyard/Bedroom #4).
LPA and A1 inspected the home for any health or safety hazards. LPA observed there to be a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher present in the Kitchen. There is an operational carbon monoxide detector present. Electrical outlets are covered or obstructed by furniture to be inaccessible to children in care. Poisons, cleaning detergents, and other chemicals are stored inaccessible to children in care. There is a fireplace present in the Living Room that has been barricaded. Stairs are rendered inaccessible to children via childproof gates or locks.
LPA observed age-appropriate toys and learning materials to be present in the home. The surface of the home was observed to be clean and free of debris. Furniture is age-appropriate and free of rough or sharp edges. The Living Room and Bedroom #4 are intended to be used as play areas. Per A1, Bedroom #2 is a napping area. LPA observed four cribs and a bed to be available for children to nap on. Mattresses are fitted with tight-fitting sheets and are manufactured for the cribs that they are placed in. A1 stated that they intend to provide lunch and AM/PM snacks for children in care. LPA observed Kitchen cabinets and drawers to be free of items such as cleaning detergents, knives, or other potential hazards. Stove knobs are secured with childproof covers and the oven is locked to prevent access by children.
