25 | On October 22, 2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Van and Leong conducted a scheduled pre-licensing inspection with the applicant, Enkhchimeg Shagdarguntev. Only the applicant and no children were present during the inspection. The applicant rents these three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths townhouses. Residents of the house include the applicant, her adult brother and his wife, her brother's adult son, and two minors.
Childcare will be provided only on the ground level, including the living room, bathroom, and hallway. The off-limit areas will be the kitchen, dining area, closet on the ground level, patio, and the entire second level. The childcare will operate Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and will cater to children from newborn to six years old. The Applicant plans to use the hallway as the isolation area.
LPAs and the applicant thoroughly examined the entire home for potential health and safety hazards, and it was determined to be free of any risks. All furniture and toys were found to be in good condition. Three playpens were noted to have only tightly fitted bedsheets without blankets, pillows, or toys. A wide range of toys and educational materials are accessible. A fully equipped first aid kit is readily available. The home is equipped with a functioning smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector, both of which were tested and found to be operational. All cleaning products and disinfectants are stored under the kitchen sink. Unused electrical outlets, wires, and power surges were appropriately covered. There are no fireplaces in the childcare areas. The applicant has a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher. According to the applicant, no guns or weapons are in the home, and no dogs or cats are present. Additionally, no bodies of water , such as swimming pools, spas, hot tubs, or fishponds, are on the premises.
