| On January 7, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Leong arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) visit. This visit was a follow-up on a previously cited deficiency. LPA met with licensees Otgonmaa Buyandelger and Davaa Enkhtur and explained the purpose of the visit.
During the visit, the two licensees and their assistant were caring for three infants and six preschool-aged children. The licensee’s minor child was present in the home.
LPA observed that the notice of the site visit on December 16, 2025, was posted on the bulletin board.
LPA reviewed LIC 9224 for ten enrolled children and found it completed.
The licensees, in writing, requested to use the lower backyard for their daycare on December 16, 2025. LPA inspected the lower backyard and found it clean and free of debris. LPA observed that the lower backyard was surrounded by a fence. LPA observed a sandbox in the backyard and found it covered. LPA reminded licensees to inspect the sandbox daily before children use it. The upper portion of the backyard was observed to be blocked off by a gate. LPA reminded the licensees that the upper backyard shall not be used unless requested and approved by the department.
LPA verified that the following issue—previously observed on the date listed below—was corrected during today’s visit:
- Staffing Ratio and Capacity: On December 16, 2025, the facility was observed with one adult supervising nine children alone. During today’s visit, the licensees demonstrated compliance by maintaining the appropriate number of children in care with appropriate staffing.
The deficiency noted above was corrected during today’s visit. The licensee acknowledged understanding of the applicable regulations and agreed to maintain compliance moving forward.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Davaa Enkhtur.
