25 | Licensing Program Analyst, LPA Yee conducted a pre-licensing inspection today. This is a change of location from TERESITA BLVD. SF, CA. License number, 384001609. LPA, and the applicant, Ms. Mancasola Norris toured the entire home for health and safety hazards. The applicant, Ms. Mancasola Norris owns this home. The control of property is on file. Current residents are Ms. Mancasola Norris and her husband only. All adults living at the facility has fingerprint clearance. Days and hours of operation: Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Day Care Areas (lower level): Playroom #1, Art room/kitchenette, playroom #2, bathroom and backyard. Off-limit areas: garage, the entire upper level (living room, bedroom #1, bedroom #2, kitchen, dining room, bathroom). The home has a size 2A10BC fire extinguisher, a carbon monoxide detector, and a smoke detector. LPA advised the facility to conduct emergency drills once every six months and keep a log sheet.
CPR and 1st aid is current. The facility does not have a body of water such as a swimming pool, or hot tub. The facility has two small dogs and kept in the off limit areas. Discipline policy was discussed. The facility will provide snacks and children bring own lunches.
LPA reviewed AB 1207 with the applicant. As of January 1, 2018, all staff members are required to complete Mandated Reporter Training every two years. The training can be obtained online at www.mandatedreporterca.com. The applicant AB1207 certificate is current.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Family Child Care Homes Sections 102417.
