25 | Licensing Program Analyst, LPA Yee conducted a pre-licensing inspection today. LPA, and the applicant, Eliza and her two daughters toured the entire home for health and safety hazards. This is a change of location from Lakeshire Drive, Daly City, CA. The applicant rents this home. The control of property is on file. Current residents are Eliza, two daughters and her friend. All adults living at the facility has fingerprint clearance. Days and hours of operation: Sunday to Saturday between 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Day Care Areas : living room, Eliza's room for napping and bathroom. Backyard and frontyard are not licensed today. If uses, the licensing department needs to inspect the areas. Off-limit areas: bedroom #2 (daughters), bedroom #3 (friend), family room, kitchen, frontyard and the backyard. The home has a size 2A10BC fire extinguisher, a carbon monoxide detector, and a smoke detector. LPA advised the facility to conduct emergency drills once every six months and keep a log sheet.
CPR and 1st aid is current until 09-2026. The facility does not have a body of water such as a swimming pool, or hot tub. Discipline policy was discussed. The facility will provide meals (morning snacks, afternoon snacks, lunches). The off limit areas is barricaded.
LPA reviewed AB 1207 with the applicant. As of January 1, 2018, all staff members are required to complete Mandated Reporter Training every two years. The training can be obtained online at www.mandatedreporterca.com. The applicant AB1207 certificate is current until 11-15-2026.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Family Child Care Homes Sections 102417.
