On August 22nd, 2023, at 9:00 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), David Nguyen met Director Bonnie Cearley for the purpose of initiating and closing a complaint investigation. LPA was granted for entry into the facility by Director. Purpose of the inspection was explained. LPA toured the facility.

It was alleged that "The facility is operating out of ratio." During the investigation, LPA Nguyen inspected the facility and interviewed the Director,the teachers, and the children on site. LPA Nguyen observed the preschool classrooms’ ratios and supervision. LPA Nguyen found that ratio and supervision was appropriate. During today’s visit, LPA Nguyen toured and observed the playgrounds while the daycare children were outside. LPA Nguyen observed appropriate ratio and supervision.

During the interviews, LPA Nguyen found conflicting information regarding the allegation. Based on interviews and observations, it was found that staff were maintaining appropriate teacher-child ratios while the children were in their care. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur; therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

Exit interview was conducted. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
