On 05/9/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elvira Sierra met with Administrator Assistant, Tammy White for an unannounced case management inspection. The purpose of the visit is to inspect the new slide structure added to the facility playground. Due to low enrollment facility is operating only in classrooms #1, #3, #4 and #6. Facility Representative stated that classrooms #2 and #5 will be open during the fall once facility has more staff. Present in the facility were 12 staff and fours volunteers’ students from ECE Practicum that are part of San Joaquin Delta College.

Outdoor space was inspected today for health and safety hazards. LPA inspected new playground slide was installed on 04/09/24. LPA observed the safety level on the play structure and is suitable for children from ages 2-5-year old. Playground equipment is in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Ground cover was observed in areas around and under the new play structure with wood chips that provide cushioned and help to protect against falls. LPA advised facility representative actively supervised children while children are using the equipment.

The play structure installed in the playground is age appropriate and appears to be safe for children. Play equipment is approved on today inspection for children's use.

No deficiencies were observed during this visit. This report was reviewed and provided to facility representative, Tammy White. Exit interview conducted. Notice of site visit posted and shall remain posted for 30 days.
