25 | On 3/20/23 at 2:40pm Licensing Program Analysts Maja Jensen and Jennifer Fain arrived at facility announced to continue and complete a required 1 year annual inspection. LPAs Jensen and Fain met with Gurprit Singh and explained the purpose of today's visit.
The facility currently does not have any clients and has not yet had any clients since date of licensure. LPA Jensen and Fain toured the facility grounds, and interior, including the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, dining room, living room, and garage. There are signs posted for resident rights, resident council, Emergency Disaster Plans," See Something, Say Something" and COVID mitigation. The facility was determined to be sanitary and free of odor. LPA Jensen observed adequate furniture throughout the facility for the comfort of future residents.
The facility has locked cabinets for the storage of toxins, knives and medications. The smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector was tested and determined to be in good working order. The fire extinguisher was purchased within the last 12 months. The first aid kit was determined to be complete with thermometer, tweezers, scissors, various wound dressings and manual. The water temperature was measured at 105 degrees which falls within the required regulatory range of 105-120 degrees.
The bedrooms were observed to have chairs, night stands, and dressers for each resident. There was adequate lighting throughout. The grounds were observed to be well maintained and free of debris.
The facility was determined to be in substantial compliance. No deficiencies are being cited as a result of this visit.
An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report and appeal rights were provided. |
