Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lauren Scott and Chayntel Hunter met with Principal, Tammy Wells to deliver the findings of the complaint investigation regarding the above allegations.

During the course of the investigation, LPA Scott conducted interviews, and obtained information pertaining to the allegations. It was alleged that another child injured a child and staff failed to protect them. Interviews revealed that the staff attend to children and and try to prevent injuries. It was also reported that injuries or incidences are recorded and reported to families.

It was also alleged that a child (C1) was being sent home in dirty and stained clothes. Through observations and interviews, LPA Scott observed photos of C1’s clothing. LPA also toured the outdoor play area and observed a dirt area that may have gotten wet from the facility’s sprinkler system. LPA received no other statements to support the allegation.

Based on the information obtained throughout the course of this investigation the above allegations could not be substantiated or dismissed. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the finding is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

Exit interview was conducted. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
