Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Deborah Khashe met with Facility Representative, Ashley Duval to deliver the findings of the complaint investigation regarding the above allegation. LPA Khashe explained the purpose of the unannounced inspection. There were (35) children present being supervised by (6) childcare teachers at the time of the visit.
It was alleged that “Staff communicated inappropriately in front of daycare children.” LPA Khashe conducted classroom observations and interviewed director, childcare teachers, parents, children and obtained pertinent information to assist with the complaint investigation.
During the teachers’ interviews and parent interviews, no information was disclosed that staff communicated inappropriately in front of daycare children.
Based on interviews, LPA Khashe did not receive any information to support the allegation. In addition, based on observations and conflicting interviews, LPA Khashe was unable to determine whether staff communicate inappropriately in front of day care children.

Based on observations and statements from director, childcare teachers, and parents, and the conflicting information from the reporting party, LPA Khashe determined that the complaint allegations were found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED, meaning although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur.

Copy of this report was reviewed and provided to the licensee. Notice of site visit is posted and shall remain posted for next 30 days.
