Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Deborah Khashe met with Facility Representative, Ashley Duval to deliver the findings of the complaint investigation regarding the above allegations. LPA Khashe explained the purpose of the unannounced inspection. There were twenty (20) children present being supervised by seven (7) childcare teachers at the time of the visit.
It was alleged that “Staff did not meet a daycare child’s needs,” “Staff yells at day care children,” and “Staff do not follow general sanitation methods.” Throughout the investigation, LPA Khashe conducted classroom observations and interviewed director, childcare teachers, parents, and obtained pertinent information to assist with the complaint investigation.
During the teachers’ interviews and parent interviews, no information was disclosed that staff did not meet the daycare children’s needs, or that children were yelled at by staff or that general sanitation methods were not followed.

Based on interviews, LPA Khashe did not receive any information to support the allegations. In addition, based on observations and conflicting interviews, LPA Khashe was unable to determine whether staff did not meet the needs of a daycare child, staff yell at day care children or that staff do not follow general sanitation methods.
Based on observations and statements from director, childcare teachers, and parents, and the conflicting information from the reporting party, LPA Khashe determined that the complaint allegations were found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED, meaning although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur.
Copy of this report was reviewed and provided to the licensee. Notice of site visit is posted and shall remain posted for next 30 days
An exit interview was conducted with the Facility Representative, Ashley Duval. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
