25 | Application Specialist (AS) Alecia Sifuentes met with Director, Christina Hine for the purpose of a case management inspection. Licensee requests to remove the toddler option program and only serve 40 preschool children from age two to entry into kindergarten. The program currently operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There are four classrooms. AS observed a sufficient amount of equipment, toys, tables, chairs, cubbies, and napping cots. AS used current measurements. The total classroom space contains a total of 1,589 square feet, which will accommodate Licensee's request for 40 preschool children. There are 3 toilets and 3 sinks for the children, and a separate private restroom for the staff.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There is one outdoor area on the property. AS used current outdoor measurements. The outdoor play area contains a total of 4,511 square feet, which will accommodate Licensee’s request for 40 preschool children.
Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
