25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Elizabeth Santiago and Lauren Scott met with facility representative, Angelica Trujillo on 01/02/2024 for the purpose of an unannounced plan of correction inspection to clear a Type A and Type B deficiencies that were issued on 11/27/2023 regarding background clearance and fire drills.
All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance. Facility representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
During today's inspection LPAs observed a proper background clearance for all staff and documentation of fire drills are being conducted at least once every 6 months.
Deficiencies cited on 11/27/2023 are cleared effective today. Proof of correction letter was provided. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
