On 07/01/2021 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Aruna Sridharan met with Site Supervisor Tu Yang for an annual inspection. LPA followed Covid Infection Control protocols. LPA toured the Center including all activity/classroom areas, the isolation area, food service area, restrooms and outdoor play area. The Site Supervisor, two teachers and food prep assistant were present. The census was six toddlers. LPA's reviewed the sign in/sign out sheets, 4 personnel records and 6 childrens records. All staff currently employed with the Center have criminal record clearances. At least one staff member present today has current Pediatric First AId and Pediatric CPR training. This License is for the Infant program. LPA reviewed care and supervision of infants, staffing ratios, health related services, including medications and first aid supplies, furniture, equipment. Centers operation hours are Monday to Friday 7:45 am to 5:15 PM.

All rooms, outdoor areas and kitchen area were toured and found to be clear of any potentially hazardous items. The kitchen refrigerator was checked and all items were found to have current dates. The Center has a menu posted and all other required posters are in place in full view for parents and staff. The Center has a isolation area located in the office if a child is ill.

Medications are kept in a lock and key box and are inaccessible to children and the Center has a fully stocked First Aid Kit. The Center conducts fire drills for children every month and maintains a log of these drills. There is adequate storage for the children's belongings and each child has a individual cubby area for their personal belongings. The Center has appropriate sized furniture for the children in good condition. The Center has water fountains available for the children's use but currently unused due to Covid and is using water igloo. The facility is providing IMS services at this time.

The Center has a working telephone and a proper sized, fully charged fire extinguisher. The smoke alarm and carbon monoxide meet regulations. The facility is following Covid guidelines. LPA observed children seated one feet from each other during meals and advised the Director to maintain three feet distance during meal times.

LPA provided the Licensing Agency website (www.ccld.ca.gov), so the director and/or staff may obtain updated licensing information, regulations, and forms.

The facility provides Incidental Medical Services-IMS. LPA reviewed the storage of medication and equipment and supplies. LPA discussed the centers plan of operation to reflect IMS plan. Specifics on the plan can be found in the child care center evaluator manual (CCC EM) Policy 101173.

No Title 22 deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. Exit interview was conducted. Notice of Site Visit posted. LPA advised the director of the Notice of Site Visit posting requirement.
