On March 25, 2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Stacey Williams and Elvira Sierra met with Facility Representative, Shanika Tennakoon for the purpose of a case management inspection. Licensee is requesting an increase of capacity to accommodate 45 children occupying three classrooms. Facility is requesting additional classroom space in room #3. The facility's hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00PM .Granted fire clearance was received on 3/19/2025 by Tracy-South County Fire Authority Community Risk Reduction. There were (27) twenty seven children present during today's inspection supervised by five staff.

LPA’s conducted a health and safety inspection in classroom #3. Measurements for classroom #3 are as follows: The total classroom space for classroom #3 contains a total of 358.90 square feet, which will accommodate a capacity of ten (10) preschool children. There are three toilets and six sinks available to children, and a separate staff restroom is available for use. Individual measurements are recorded on the Capacity Worksheet (LIC 9024).

Outdoor space was previously inspected and measured by Licensing Program Manager, (LPM) Seychelle DeLuca on 1/29/2021. Per Facility Representative, Shanika Tennakoon, no changes had been made to the outdoor area since last measurement. A Shared Outdoor Space Waiver is on file; however, must be updated to reflect the increase of capacity and removal of school age children. LPAs discussed with the Facility Representative, due to the number of available toilets designated for children; the maximum capacity of children the facility can accommodate is forty five.

LPAs observed a functional carbon monoxide detector in the classroom. LPAs observed disinfectants are inaccessible and appropriately stored.

This facility evaluation report was reviewed and discussed with the Facility Representative. Facility Representative was encouraged to the visit the Department's website at WWW.CDSS.CA.GOV for information regarding childcare updates, forms, regulations and legislation pertaining to childcare centers.

Facility Representative was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain childcare by connecting them to childcare providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.

CONDITIONS REQUIRING CORRECTION PRIOR TO ISSUING A LICENSE:

1.) Updated Shared Outdoor Space Waiver

2.) Updated Application reflecting maximum capacity of 45 children

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Facility Representative, Shanika Tennakoon. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Appeal Rights were provided.
