On 11/01/23, Licensing program Analyst (LPA) Elvira Sierra met with Licensee, Tatiana Mccray to deliver the findings of the complaint investigation regarding the above allegations. No children were present during the inspection.
LPA conducted an investigation regarding the allegations listed above. The facility was toured, and interviews were conducted with the Reporting Party (RP), Licensee, and parents of children enrolled in the facility. It was alleged that the provider is allowing a minor to provide care for day care children and does not keep the facility clean and orderly. Daycare parents that were interviewed reported to be aware that licensee uses an adult assistant occasionally if needed to help with the children and reported to have no concerns regarding the facility cleanliness. LPA reviewed assistant’s file. Assistant on record has fingerprint clearance on record with Licensing office. Also the licensee denied the allegations and reporter during interview that she deep cleans the facility at least once a week and sanitize the toys daily with Lysol or bleach and water diluted.

Information gathered during interviews did not provide sufficient evidence to either support or dismiss the above allegations. Therefore, the findings for the above allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED, meaning that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the allegations occurred.

An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with Licensee, Tatiana Mccray. LPA provided Licensee Appeal Rights and a copy of this report. A Notice of Site Visit was posted by LPA and shall remain posted for 30 days. .
