25 | Application Specialist (AS) Alecia Sifuentes and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christopher Jackson met with Applicant/Licensee Representative, Linda Craig for the purpose of an announced pre-licensing inspection. Applicant requests an infant license to serve 8 infant children from 12 months to 18 months. The program will operate Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The fire clearance was granted and received on 11/18/2021.
Applicant acknowledges that the following documents must be posted at all times: License, Emergency Disaster Plan, Personal Rights, Parents' Rights Poster, car seat poster, menus, and daily schedule. AS discussed the forms that must be in each child's and each staff member's file. AS provided LIC311A, Safe Sleep regulations, Effects of Lead Exposure brochure, and new immunization card. The facility will be providing breakfast, lunch, snacks, and baby food. Parents will provide formula and breast milk.
INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There are two infant classroom. AS observed a sufficient amount of equipment, toys, tables, chairs, high chairs, cubbies, and napping cots. Applicant acknowledges there will be no infants under 12 months old, due to no available cribs. There is a first aid kit in each of the classrooms. Medications will be stored in the office in a locked box. AS observed cleaning disinfectants are appropriately stored and inaccessible to children. Applicant stated there are no poisons or firearms on the premises. Applicant stated there is a water dispenser and cups available in each classroom. AS observed a functional dual smoke and carbon monoxide detector in each of the classrooms. AS observed sign-in/sign-out binders.
