13 | On 07/11/2024, Licensing Program Analyst Katy Velazquez (LPA) conducted an unannounced complaint investigation to deliver the findings for the above allegation. LPA met with Director Ella Temple Baumer (D1). Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA conducted physical plant inspections, on-site observations, interviews, reviewed and collected documentation. It was alleged that D1 did not ensure teacher to child ratios during the month of April 2024. LPA reviewed the daily sign-in sheets and verified that D1 was not alone with more than 12 preschool aged children.
Based on interviews, observations, documentation, and other information gathered, there was not a preponderance of evidence to prove or negate the allegation, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. In the areas that were evaluated on 07/11/2024, no deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. An exit interview was conducted with Director Temple Baumer, and Appeal Rights were provided by LPA. A Notice of Site visit was posted by LPA and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
