25 | On May 21, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Stacey Williams met with Facility Representative, Maria Carina Diaz-Barajas for an unannounced annual random inspection. LPA provided LIC 125, Entrance Checklist. LPA observed twelve children being supervised by two staff. The Facility Representative was reminded never to exceed the conditions, limitations and capacity specified on the license. Facility hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30AM- 5:30 PM. Facility waiver is on file for shared outdoor space. Facility fees are current.
The Facility Representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Childcare Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
LPA toured the facility including all activity and classroom spaces, restrooms, food service and outdoor play areas. The Facility Representative stated there are no poisons, bodies of water, or weapons on the premises. LPA observed that hazardous items (disinfectants, cleaning solutions etc.) were inaccessible to children in care. LPA observed functioning carbon monoxide and smoke alarms. There is also a 2A-10 BC fire extinguisher onsite. There are adequate toys and equipment available for children.
Playground equipment and surfaces were inspected and are in good repair with enough resilient material under climbing structures to absorb a fall. Shade was provided to children via trees. Drinking water was readily available to children both indoors and outdoors.
Menus were posted for snack, lunch and early dinner. LPA observed required licensing postings were visible to parents. LPA observed a current children's roster and fire drill; the last drill was conducted 4/2026. During this inspection, LPA observed that the facility is equipped with first aid equipment.
