All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance verified by LPA accessing Guardian. Applicants understand that anyone living or working in the home, eighteen (18) years of age or older must obtain fingerprint clearance PRIOR to living or working in the home. Applicant was reminded that all adults 18 and over living in the home, persons who provide care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.

The applicant provided proof of control of property. Applicant owns the home.

A health and safety inspection was conducted inside and outside of the FCCH. Applicant accompanied LPA for the entirety of the tour. The FCCH is a 2-story home with kitchen, dining room, living room, garage, laundry room, 3 1/2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, and office.

• Type A deficiencies are violations of licensing requirements that, if not corrected, have a direct and immediate risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of persons in care.

• Type B deficiencies are violations of licensing requirements that, without correction, could become a risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of persons in care, a recordkeeping violation that could impact the care of said persons and/or protection of their resources, or a violation that could impact those services required to meet the needs of persons in care.

LPA observed the stairs properly barricaded by a baby-gate. Applicant understands that baby gate needs to be used during day care hours. A functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detector was observed and tested. LPA toured the bathrooms and verified toxic and hazardous items were inaccessible to children in care. LPAs observed cleaners and detergents are stored upstairs in off limit area inaccessible to children. LPAs observed knives stored in kitchen cabinet up high where its inaccessible to children. A 3A40BC fire extinguisher was observed and appeared to be in the green zone. A first-aid kit was observed in coat/jacket closet. Cabinets that are accessible to children are free of hazardous items. LPA discussed with the applicant that if there are any poisons at the home, all poisons must be locked with a key lock or combination lock. No Fireplace was observed. Applicant stated there are no firearms or weapons in the home.

Licensee discussed the requirement of the fire drill log. Licensee understands that they must conduct fire drills as well as log the fire drills at least once every six (6) months.

LPA discussed Mandated Reporter Training with Applicant. Health and Safety Code 1596.8662 requires all licensed providers, applicants, directors and employees to complete training as specified on Mandated Reporter duties and to renew training every two (2) years. Volunteers are encouraged but not required to take the training. This training requirement may be met by using the Department’s Office of Child Abuse Prevention (OCAP) online training modules. The OCAP modules are free of cost and available at http://www.mandatedreporterca.com. The training is currently provided in English and Spanish. Applicant has a current Mandated Reporter Training Certificate which will expire on 1/2028. Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid training was verified for Applicant and expires on 12/2027 Completion of Preventative Health and Safety training, including nutrition and lead exposure, was verified before the inspection. Proof of required immunizations for Applicant was also verified before the inspection.

Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see PIN 22-02-CCP. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with applicant and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at: https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-andresources/safe-sleep, as an additional resource. LPA also informed [applicant, licensee, or facility representative] of the importance of checking for and removing recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at: https://www.cpsc.gov/, and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. LPA discussed the requirement to check and log infant napping every 15 minutes, for infants under 24 months. LPA provided applicant a copy of LIC 9227—Individual Infant Sleeping Plan. LPA discussed the requirement to complete the LIC 9227—Individual Infant Sleeping Plan for infants under twelve (12) months of age.

Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters, and other important information communication platforms.To receive important licensed related information to licensed facilities, visit the CCLD Important Information website at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/community- care-licensing/subscribe and select the Child Care option to receive email communication.

Applicants understand that licenses are not transferable, and once licensed, licensee must live in the home and be present for 80% of the operating hours. Applicants understand that if an unusual incident occurs; licensing is to be notified via phone call, e-mail or fax within 24 hours, and the Unusual Incident Report LIC 624 shall be submitted within seven (7) days to remain in compliance. Applicants understand that if any structural changes are made to the home; licensing must be notified PRIOR to construction.

On this date, 04/27/26, the California Attorney General - Megan’s Law website was searched for information on sex offenders required to register with local law enforcement under California's Megan's Law. No registered sex offenders were found at the facility address. Under state law, some registered sex offenders are not subject to public disclosure; therefore, they may not have been included in this search. However, the Department conducts a monthly cross reference of each address on record for all registered sex offenders against all CCLD facility addresses pursuant to information shared by California DOJ. Applicant stated they understood and is aware of all the information that was discussed and reviewed.

As of today, 05/04/2026, Ranjeeta Sinha is approved for a Large Family Child Care License to serve 12 children (when there is an assistant present) with no more than 4 infants OR a capacity of 14 children with no more than 3 infants, and when 1 child is in Kindergarten or Elementary School, and 1 child is at least aged 6 years old. Infants are children under the age of 24 months old. Licensee understands that when there is no assistant present, the facility must revert back to the ratios of a small capacity.
