25 | On 7/14/26, at 10:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Matthew Sapien conducted an unannounced annual random inspection visit of the abovementioned Family Child Care Home (FCCH). LPA met with Kimberly Loudat, Licensee of the FCCH, and explained the nature and purpose of the inspection. The LPA, in the company of Licensee, toured the entirety of the FCCH. The home possesses 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The residence is a split level home that contains three stories. The areas that are accessible for day care children are the following: family room, living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and some of the backyard. The remainder of the home is excluded from childcare services. Inaccessible rooms and areas are made secure by child safety gates and locks. Importantly to note, the first story of the home is off limits and is made inaccessible via a child safety gate at the top of the staircase. At the time of the inspection, LPA observed 2 day care children present, neither were infants. In addition to the Licensee, LPA observed the Licensee's adult daughter during the inspection (cleared and associated).
LPA observed the FCCH to be clean and orderly. The bathroom, utilized for childcare, was found to be clean and free of hazardous items. LPA observed personal medications in a cabinet on the first floor that remains locked. No children currently use medication. Primary cleaning solutions on top of an elevated shelf in the primary bathroom, an area that is off limits for children in care. Sharps, like kitchen knives, are stored on top of the refrigerator.
LPA observed age-appropriate toys, furnishings, and equipment throughout the accessible indoor areas. LPA observed one fireplace in the living room. LPA observed a metal screen that encloses the fireplace. The fireplace also possesses locks for added security. Licensee informed LPA that there are a host of pets like dogs, pigs, and chickens throughout the residence. Licensee informed LPA that all of the pets are vaccinated and have friendly interactions with children in care. LPA also observed a First Aid Kit in the residence for the day care.
LPA observed relevant licensing forms and documents posted prominently near the entrance of the residence. (CONT. 809-C, Page 2)
