25 | At 2:45 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elvin Baddley attempted to visit the abovementioned Child Care Center located on the grounds of Fair Grove Elementary School. LPA met with Rocio Cowley , Attendance clerk of the Fair Grove Elementary School and was informed the facility closed 3/15/21 and is no longer on site. The clerk provide LPA a contact number( which was different (805 543 8235) from the contact number CCLD processed.
LPA contact telephone provided and was given email address of Administrators. LPA followed the following and received the following response:
Hello Elvin,
Apologies about any lack of communication. We are not currently operating a preschool program at that site as it was shut down for the pandemic and we just have not been able to re-establish the program there as of yet.
I wouldn't say we're at the point of declaring 'permanent' facility closure but at least for the foreseeable future, we will not be having a pre-k program at that site. A big hindrance at the moment is the low staffing levels we continue to face.

I am inquiring the status of the YMCA South County Preschool (License # 406214789) at 2101 The Pike, Grover Breach, CA 93433 (Grounds of Fair Grove Elementary School). I was on site this morning and was informed by school staff the preschool no longer occupies a space on site. The Community Care Licensing Division of the California Department of Social Services was never informed of a permanent facility closure and /or relocation. Can you please advise?
